Lately I've been thinking of bolstering my meagre magazine-writing earnings with a fashion retail job. Considering my addiction to all things style, it seems like a match made in heaven, right?
Today I had an interview at Witchery, my intense, long-lasting fashion crush. Freakin' adore their clothes. At one stage, I asked my friend Karen to ban me from buying there until I branched out a little, brand-wise. I was a walking Witchery sales rack.
The interview went well, I think. I've been invited to do a trial run tomorrow at another store. Fingers crossed -- I am already mentally spending the staff discount. These little beauties for starters...

$129.95
The role would be for around 10-15 hours per week, giving me a steady income to supplement the unpredictable pay of freelancing. The best of both worlds.
We'll see how I go. Updates soon!
I LOVE your choices!!! I would be down with all of them...except WAY out of my price range. I'm a Target shopper. Yeah...sad...I use to know ALL the names/brands. I use to never wear anything that didn't have a "designer" attached to it.
ReplyDeleteThen marriage, kids and divorce happened. One day though...one day I will be wearing the hell out of some nice stuff again!
All the best with it Becks, I am sure you will do great! All your clothing picks are gorgeous too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Katie and Sophie!
ReplyDeleteKatie, there is NOTHING wrong with Target. I'm a huge fan!
You'll be impressed with my latest Target purchase during the sales -- a skirt, black-and-white polka dot dress and leopard-print tights, for a grand total of $33. I was so chuffed. : )
