Resume

Rebecca holds a degree in mathematical and computer sciences, Honours in English, and a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) from the University of Adelaide. In addition to studying media, family, human rights and medical law subjects throughout her university career, Rebecca wrote for the university newspaper and tutored primary and high school students in mathematics and English. In 2005, her article on David Hicks and the proposed US Camp X-ray trials won the coveted Law Society Bulletin "Article of the Year" award.

From her roles as a mediator for Consumer Affairs and as a ministerial liaison officer, Rebecca is an experienced communications professional with many reports, presentations, briefing notes and newsletters to her name. She now focuses her energies on her two blogs, Becks and the City (about breaking into a full-time writing career) and I LOVE WINNING (about her passion for entering consumer competitions). She is considered an expert in the "comping" field, appearing on Channel 7's The Morning Show and authoring an article on the topic for Femail, an online "glossy" women's magazine.

Rebecca is currently working on a non-fiction book.
